After graduating from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio with my Doctor of Medicine (MD), where I met my now husband, I moved to Dallas. He had taken a position at Ennis Regional Medical Center in general surgery so I chose to do my residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor in Dallas to be close by. We got married in my second year of training, and since our wedding day, we have made our home in Ennis. After completing Internal Medicine residency, I pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, also at Baylor in Dallas, which I completed in 2010.
Once I finished training, I opened my practice in Ennis in 2010 and have been here since. I am board certified in Cardiovascular Disease (commonly referred to as Cardiology). I've won the reader's choice award for Best Doctor in Ennis for the majority of the years I have been here. I've been part of the community, involved in downtown revitalization and now with the parks and recreation department. I want to help make our community better.

In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and two teenage boys, cooking, going for walks and exercising.
